The Ainiai ensemble comes from Lithuania. Its members are all professional musicians who have at their back years of study and practice. Their repertoire includes not only Lithuanian folk songs and dances, but also original work pieces created by various composers. In their concerts they play a great variety of Lithuanian instruments, such as reed-pipes, kanklės, horns, ožragis, skudučiai, daudytės, tabalai, wooden bells, lumzdeliai, molinukai, džingulis, pliauška, They regularly have concerts in Lituania and abroad where their sound is really appreciated.
The members of the ensemble are actively committed in the educational field. Their cooperation with Lithuanian schools and kindergartens is continuous and very professional. Their special concerts for children have been appreciated and recommended by of LR Ministry of Education and Science. What characterizes the ensemble is their continuous creative process and the desire to amuse, surprise and spiritually enrich their audience.
