La3no Cubano is a multi genre band from Slovakia. Their repertoire is manly based on rhythms from all over the world, from African, Latin-American tunes to Arabian, Gipsy, Balkan, drum’n’bass or funky music.
It was founded in 2005 by a group of enthusiastic percussionists and after some time, melodic instruments were added, such as violin, keyboards, sax, flute, Slovak traditional wooden flutes, bass and vocals. The boys mix up different rhythms in a tasty world music cocktail, with a strong flavour of traditional Slovak folk roots. The band is best known for its crazy live shows, full of dance, spontaneous improvisations and fun. Its performances are dominated by cheerfulness, the guys can create a lively and explosive atmosphere both in small clubs and large stages and of course in the streets.
