"Everything can be played on bottles"!! Both beer and water have been running under the bridge since the four Danish Bottle Boys seven years ago, wearing festive blue T-shirts printed with the "Super Bottle Logo", started the bottle adventure. They met at a party at the Musicology institute in Copenhagen and decided that there, literally, should be blown a little life into the party. The students therefore found a handful of empty bottles, tuned them with a bit of water and performed what would be the beginning of a long line of bottle concerts over the coming years.
The Instrumentarium includes everything from traditional bottle blows and flick to the inventively engineered bottle xylophone and a full drum kit. All the bottle instruments are of course self-invented and home brewed - usually paired with a lot of duct tape.
Their repertoire ranges over all musical genres and styles, from classical to pop and rock. Thanks to their great success, The Bottle Boys have toured a lot and they have been invited to several national TV shows.
