Rules and Regulations

Artists participating in the FBF, the event is absolutely no competition, are divided into two categories: invited musicians and artists credited.

INVITED MUSICIANS (individuals or groups):
- Are hosted (accommodation and meals) at the expense of the organization and receive a refund of travel expenses.
- They have to perform, unless otherwise agreed with the organizers, for the duration of the event.
- Participation as a musician invited to the festival is subject to receipt of the official letter of invitation
- Each year the festival is dedicated to a host country, so most of the 20 invited teams will come from the same nation.
- The invited groups are 20.

FRINGE CREDITED ARTISTS (allowed musicians but also, minimally, other kind of art):
- Can only benefit from the special conventions for sleeping and eating proposed by the organization.
- Depending on the readiness expressed by the artists, the organization decides what and how many days to assign the artist / group credited.
- The participation of the fringe artists, credited to the festival, is subject to receipt of the letter of credit
- The number of fringe groups varies from day to day and depending on the availability of roads. There are about 300 groups distributed over the 9-day festival.

No artist / group receives honoraria or fees.
All buskers get money by busking

In compliance with the picture buskers, you specify that:
- Are not allowed electrical connections to the network
- Power generators are not allowed
- May not be too powerful amplifiers (permitted facilities with dry battery up to 50 W)
- Are not allowed full drum sets (SET Max allowed 3 pieces in muted bass drum.

The artists, invited or accredited, shall comply with the times and places specified by the organization
The positions of the players invited are set in advance and published the brochure, those of the artists credited shall be determined and published daily on-line or at the Information Point.

The organization may take the initiative to invite artists or groups even after the deadline for special artistic merits, and if it considers that the presence of the artist / group chosen could contribute to raising the quality level of the event

Deadline: all the requests to take part in the festival have to be sent  application form (online only): Monday April 30th, 2012
Form, presentations, images and video / audio files uploaded from groups accepted will be published on the festival website
We welcome CD audio and DVD video to the archive of the festival (to be sent by regular mail)
