Bakandeya

Rooted in electronic music, the band incorporates various genres—what might be termed "electronic-fusion" or, as the band prefers to call it, "electrobasureo" (a play on words meaning "electro-trash," referencing the recycled percussion instruments they use). A blend of musical influences comes together: reggae, Balkan music, klezmer, jazz, Eastern music, classical, drum and bass, and techno.
